VirtualSky

Overlay settings
Camera location and image time must be correct for accurate sky alignment.
Camera orientation

Altitude: 0° horizontal, 90° straight up. Camera pointing direction describes the lean; Azimuth aligns the overlay with the image.

Image alignment

VirtualSky reference circle size and position. The image-processing circle and offsets in Config are separate settings.

Fine adjustments

Recovering camera pointing resets latitude/longitude offsets to zero.

Additional overlay correction (optional)

If stars still do not line up after a normal solve, enable this and solve again. The correction is applied only when validation confirms an improvement. Toggle to compare; only the overlay changes. Save remembers your choice.
